I was in the Honors Choir at Cactus Shadows.  We had just performed in the state choir festival and were anxiously waiting on the bus to hear our results.  Mr. Wykoff, our director, walked on the bus, holding the manila envelope.  When he took out our plaque, we saw that we had earned a superior with distinction and the highest scores out of all the other choirs.  Nothing can beat that sensation of everybody’s mutual feelings of pride and happiness on that small public school bus!
